"I found Yoga in the Woods extremely enjoyable and relaxing. Practicing surrounded by nature, with the sounds of birds singing and the breeze blowing through the trees as the only background noise, really enhanced the experience. Alice is an excellent instructor, she welcomed and guided us throughout the session. I’d recommend anyone to give it a try!"

"The yoga class was really beautiful, the location is great - off the beaten track and in the middle of nature. The class itself was easy to follow and the snacks afterwards are a definite bonus. Thanks so much Alice!"

"I was intrigued by yoga in the woods and if I’m honest a bit unsure about how comfortable it would be! However the mats Alice provided made it very comfortable and the atmosphere in the forest, seeing the sunset through the canopy was so relaxing and beautiful I loved it, probably more than indoor yoga! Alice was a great teacher, she explained the moves in a way that was easy to understand for a beginner like myself and was very knowledgeable and caring in her approach."

"When Alice mentioned her classes in the woods I instantly got curious to try it out! It is such a great idea to combine yoga with nature in that way. Before the class Alice very carefully provided instructions on how to get to the spot and what to bring/wear. The weather was gorgeous and the class was full of cues to our beautiful surroundings, integrating the yoga practice with the nature around us. It was a great way to ground and start the weekend!"

"Yoga in the Woods is an experience like no other, blending the tranquility of the great outdoors with the serenity of yoga practice. Alice encouraged us to draw inspiration from the strength of the trees and the calmness in the air, guiding us through a series of poses that mimicked these elements. Her gentle reminders to stay present and absorb the natural beauty around us elevated the session, making it a truly immersive experience. Yoga in the Woods provided not just a physical workout but also a mental and spiritual retreat. I highly recommend trying yoga in the woods to anyone looking to deepen their practice or simply seeking a unique and enriching experience. Whether you're an experienced yogi or a beginner, this is an experience not to be missed."

"I was so happy when I found out about Yoga in the Woods! I love being outdoors, and the chance to do a lovely yoga class outside in the forest is so refreshing and replenishing. I was a bit concerned about getting rained on or feeling cold, but there’s plenty of opportunity to layer up or take a layer off, and the times it has rained, the tree canopy has protected us from all but a few drops – even when the rain was quite heavy! So I needn’t have worried. Alice even brings bug spray just in case. She makes the whole thing very comfortable with ground cover to lay your mat on and hot tea available at the end of class. I love the yoga sequences Alice plans – they are always really balanced, and you can make it as challenging or as gentle as you want, because she provides suggestions to adapt it to your own energy level and ability. It feels like a really inclusive class, and the opportunity to stay and chat afterwards if you have time makes it feel like a community. I always leave Yoga in the Woods feeling better, mentally and physically. Even if I didn’t feel like getting myself there to start with – I’m always glad I did!"

"Alice had a gentle and serene aura as she guided us through some poses, I felt comfortable and safe. Her variation on savasana was beautiful, viewing the wind blowing in the trees as we laid in nature, it was something I had never experienced. I left feeling calm and connected with nature and those around me. Being able to pause, whilst surrounded by trees, hearing the birds, brought awareness to the importance of stopping. Thank you Alice!"

"I had only been practising yoga for 6 weeks when I first went to Yoga in the Woods. From the first session I was entranced. The wind might blow...& obviously it's sometimes damp, but the trees provide a canopy. For me it was a much better environment to practice in. As a novice I had concerns about my abilities but Alice structures the class to incorporate all levels. It's been magical observing the change in the light & the trees & I leave the class with a great sense of inner peace & calm."

"I really enjoy outdoor activities and spending time in nature, so when I first heard about Yoga in the Woods, I was very keen to try it. Both times I attended Yoga in the Woods, the temperature was about 15-16°C. Even though I wrapped up quite well, extra layers didn’t restrict my yoga practice, actually it felt very cosy and comfortable practising yoga outdoors in my woollen jumper. Also, the yoga flow was very well thought from beginning to end. Alice is very welcoming and caring - I felt really safe under her guidance, especially when practising with closed eyes, she always reassured us that she was watching the surroundings. After the classes I attended I felt grounded, connected to my body, uplifted and revitalised. The whole experience was so meditative and peaceful, I would definitely recommend it and cannot wait to practise again!"

"I went to teatime practise of yoga in the woods this evening, I was feeling stressed and energetically very low! But once I got out of the car and into the woods my mind instantly cleared and I became entranced by the sun etching out the autumnal colours. By the time I arrived at the yoga space I was ready to move and breath. Alice is a very sympathetic teacher and led the class at a gentle pace, but with some challenging poses. Time just slipped away and I could feel myself loosening up and reaching for the tree tops and sky. A beautiful class on a beautiful day in a beautiful place. Thank you."

"I recently attended a yoga class run by Alice at a retreat in Wales. She is a naturally gifted teacher. The flow was perfect and she gave clear directions and verbal cues into all Postures . More than that though was her passion for yoga and healing . She is a very conscious teacher who guided us through an utterly enchanting meditation at the end of the session.. it’s five stars ⭐️ from me ! 🤍"

"I had my first experience of Yoga in the Woods this week. It was easy to book and easy to find. Alice thinks of everything to make it a special experience. Although the weather wasn't great, it was still really lovely to be out in nature. It was so nice to be exercising under the canopy of leaves, with birds singing and squirrels squirreling above me. I had plenty of layers and didn't feel the cold at all and Alice provided blankets for the relaxation at the end if needed. I felt very welcomed and at ease as a newbie, and the class was very manageable and well-explained for a beginner like me. Highly recommended and great value."

"Practising Yoga in the Woods with Alice has become a highlight of my week. The beautiful setting of the Chevin, surrounded by the peaceful canopy of leaves, creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and mindfulness. Opening my eyes after Savasana and seeing the sky above is so refreshing! Alice’s flow is always thoughtful and enjoyable. The location is easy to find —it’s the perfect escape from the busyness of daily life."

"Saturday Yoga in the Woods is my favourite way to start the weekend. As someone who regularly makes back-to-back plans and has quite a busy lifestyle, I love how it creates space for me to take time for myself, stretch and spend time in nature. I always come away feeling refreshed and accomplished. The class itself is very accessible and easy to follow - despite being someone who constantly gets their left and right mixed up! It’s also really nice to have time allocated to rest, sip tea and chat after the class, I’ve met so many likeminded people and got lots of great local recommendations. I recommend Yoga in the Woods to everyone I know!"

"I had dabbled in yoga at home before and this was my first experience doing yoga as part of a class. Initially I was quite nervous about it, but I really didn’t need to be! Alice immediately put me at ease and created a very calm and welcoming environment even though I felt like a total beginner. The class makes me feel so relaxed and ready for the day. The woods are a really peaceful and calming location too, I particularly love seeing all of the wildlife like the birds and squirrels!"
